| Year 2 of a successful US Army wrestling camp is put in the books. The Army sent us 2 great WCAP wrestlers to run camp again. Peter (PJ) Ogunsanya and Brenda Reyna. Huge thanks to 1LT Scott Cherryholmes, SFC Tyler Dvorak, SSG Stephen Shirtz and SSG Tim Mac Donald! They are the ones that made this camp possible this year. |

Great first day of the US Army wrestling camp. We have doubled the number of wrestlers from last year! 2 more days of learning from
WCAP wrestlers Brenda Reyna and PJ Ogunsanya!
Day 2 starts tomorrow at 10am. |

| We are all set up for the free camp with the US Army on June 9th-11th. The old gym looks really good with 6 mats on the floor. Thank you to all the kids, Army, ATC Suzi and my coaching staff for giving up their morning to set up for camp. Our wrestling family is the best!! |

Since the 1983-84 wrestling season we have had a J-Hawk schedule poster dedicated to our letterman and varsity team.
In the 2021-22 season we changed things up a bit and dedicated it to a very close friend of the program who passed away.
This years poster is dedicated to G. Wyatt Schultz. Wyatt was a long time supporter of our program and Jefferson athletics.
Wyatt had a saying...
"Let's Keep Wrestling on the Move."
I hope he is looking down on us smiling, knowing We Will
"Keep Wrestling on the Move"
at Jefferson in his honor. |
